BEFORE THE FIRST DRIVE

RC Buying Guide

The right model starts with the space you have, the way you want to drive and what is actually included.

Scale is a starting point. Dimensions decide the fit.

A 1:18 label describes the model’s nominal scale; it does not make every 1:18 vehicle the same length, width or wheelbase. Read the dimensions on the product page and measure your available driving and storage space.

  • Compare length and width with your layout.
  • Allow space to turn and recover the vehicle.
  • Match track and barrier dimensions to the actual vehicle, not just the scale label.

Choose the package, then check the included items.

One product can offer different models, battery counts, controllers or optional parts. Photos can show more than one configuration. The selected option and its listing define the purchase.

Before adding to cart

Check the selected model, color, battery quantity, controller, charger and any separately sold accessories. Vehicle-only and controller-inclusive choices are different purchases.

Ready to run and assembly kits are different starting points.

Some listings offer complete vehicles; others are assembly kits or vehicle-only options. Do not assume that a kit includes electronics, tools, a battery or a controller. Read the exact included-items list.

Battery and charging instructions are product-specific. Use the supplied manufacturer instructions and only the compatible charging equipment specified for the selected item.

Accessories need their own compatibility check.

A track mat can be compared by dimensions. A body shell, motor or radio also needs an exact model, mount or electrical compatibility check. A shared scale label does not prove that a part will fit.

If the listing leaves a necessary detail unclear, send the product link and selected option through our contact form before ordering.

ASK A PRODUCT QUESTION

Build a layout around your vehicle.

Start with a flat, clear space and leave room for turns. Add layout elements only after comparing dimensions and surface conditions. The track and vehicle shown together in a photo are not necessarily sold as one package.
